TIAM Final technical event

The final technical meeting of the TIAM project was held successfully at the 8th of September in Pilsen. 5 TIAM participants of the TIAM project attended the meeting.   

First the summary of proposed project content was done and compared to the current state. All main objectives of TIAM are achieved according to the plan except the final one, which is to produce a report with recommendations for the local/regional authorities on how to foment WMSD prevention. All participants agreed that it is necessary to upload all results and reports to the TIAM web page.

The most important purpose of this final technical meeting is to exchange experiences in the TIAM project and discussion the possibility for new projects based on the results of the TIAM. Each partner summarized the main project results and experiences gained during the application of toolkits from the regional point of view. Also overall benefits and weak points of the project were discussed.

To conclude, three main issues are required to accomplish.

  • Future of the TIAM web page after the end of the project
  • Report for policy makers on a regional basis
  • Report for I4W concerning innovations

A new project proposal was introduced by Mr. Enrique Alvarez-Casado from UPC. The new project focuses on the application of ergonomic tools in gardening, construction and manufacturing sectors. Mr. Achleitner Hannes from Upper Austria proposed to use modern technologies as position and movement sensors and to develop a prototype measuring system. The system should be transferable and should allow automatic data collecting.

Finally, the meeting was successfully closed after one day hard work from all the participants.
